Alternative imprisonment have been evaluated from various aspects, but what makes all these kinds of writings valid is firstly their legal evaluation independently and in interacting with other institutions of Islamic Penal Code. Meanwhile if it is abandoned because of its inefficiency, it is not possible to exploit the benefits of its implementation. This study is attempt to examine the general condition of multiple crime in alternative imprisonments (article 72, IPC), and interaction with other law institutes. the same way, it scrutinizes the effect of this confrontation on the determination of the penalties for alternatives imprisonment to clarify the effectiveness of this lenient institute and the limitations of applicable penalties. what springs to mind first regarding the multiplicity of crimes and the existence of this condition in alternative imprisonment, is intensification of this institution to deprive the perpetrators of a criminal offense of alternative imprisonment. On contrary, with the clarification of concept, the immediate effects of this condition will be determined by the fact that it will exacerbate minor offenses on one hand and discount for serious crimes and dangerous offenders on the other hand. Consequently, the existence of such a condition in the alternative imprisonment will rupture this institution.

A criminological study of preventive ways of the crimes against humanityAbstract:The crimes against humanity , a distaster of the 20th century and present times, have lead to the terrible human tragedies in the human societies. To find some vital strategies to prevent such crimes is a must since the high number of the victims and the casualties of these crimes is considered as a great threat to the international peace and security. To prevent these highly complex nature crimes requires a comprehensive plan, which seems to be impossible. However, this fact should not stop us from attempting to reach the necessary strategies to prevent such crimes. These strategies are studied from two perspectives: penal and non-penal ones. In the non- penal approach, according to the common and classical criminological classification, social and situational issues will be analysed here in. so as to materialize the ways to prevent these crimes.

The crimes committed against humanity are amongst the clear violations of criminal international law and are extra ordinary forms of collective violence which have escaped the notice of criminologists for a long time, since the prosecution, trail and punishment of those committing these crimes did not prevent them from perpetrating crimes. Studying the criminological nature of these crimes could be a good help for international criminal justice to fight against them knowingly and to achieve an effective international criminal policy to prevent them. A criminological approach to do so is the study of psychological state of those perpetrating these crimes. The present article aims to attain such a goal. The criminological findings indicate that those committing these crimes are common people. The us-them thinking and justifications of perpetrators to overcome cognitive dissonance and their natural inhibitions to deceive themselves have an effective role in realization of given crimes. Dehumanization of victims, scapegoating of victims and deserving them to be punished, resorting to the amnesty and forgiveness world views are amongst those justifications to be dealt with herein
